JOY

JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

REIGN IN LIFE

REIGN IN LIFE

Daniel 5:1-12
Devotional:- “There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father-your father the king-made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayer” (v. 11) NKJV.

Today, in our nation, we need Spirit filled people to ascend to leadership of our politics. The ungodly has been ruling us for years. People who pretends to be Christians but do not have the Holy Spirit or the fear of God. People who could because of power do anything no matter how bad.

The rulership of Daniel in the land of Babylon spanned over the tenure of many kings. He was always needed at the top. This is a man of the Holy Spirit (Daniel 6:1-3). David was located and was recommended for the palace (1 Samuel 16:18). So, also was Joseph (Genesis 41:37-41). In all the nations, good rulers are always looking for the righteous (Proverbs 29:2). It is because it is righteousness that will enjoy God’s backing (Proverbs 14:34)

Friend, if all these men ruled in their time by the Holy Spirit, then, that is what we need to rule in our time. Using more human brain we let people be defeated because you cannot match the ungodly in cunningness and diverse but only with driven wisdom for us to reign in life. We must keep quality relationship with the Holy Spirit to find continuous connection. It is the information of the spirit that drives us into action that can not be hindered (Job 32:8) It is when your mind always receive the information of the spirit that leads to righteousness for God’s backing (Psalms 23:1-5). Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me in the Holy Spirit to rule
