CHOICE OF JOY Acts 16:20-30 Devotional:- “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.” (V.25) NKJV So many people in this world have not woken up to the fact that the way they live is their choice. One of the greatest errors is to think that the situation a man finds himself, is the determining factor of his life. This is not true. Please come to an awareness of this truth from now on: that you are living as you have chosen to live. Get to know that you are a creature of choice. Whatever your choice is, that is your lot. God chooses no evil for anyone in life (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether you are happy or not, whether you are rich or not, whether you are healthy or not, it is your choice; if you decide otherwise from now and stand by your decision, things will change for you. Devotional: -"And it happened, at the time when the flocks conceived, that I lifted my eyes and saw in a dream, and behold, the rams which leaped upon the flocks were streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted” (V.10) NKJV



   A major reason many are frustrated today is because they have come to the end of their ability to solve their problems. This is because as mighty as our brain can work, as weak and incapable it can be without the energy of the spirit. So the lives of many are becoming so discouraging today because they do not know the way of strength.
 
   Jacob was not a scientist but by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, he received an insight into how to make the animal reproduced to give him his breakthrough in business. Friend, it is the man of solution that will always be promoted in any office (Gen. 41:38-40). It is by the Holy Spirit that Joseph excel in Egypt. The time has come for you as a believer to give attention to fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit. It is time we give attention to meditation in the word of God (Psalm 119:97-100). 
 
   This is what will make you a solution to your world. See, unbelievers could be clueless, but you should be riding on the wings of solutions wherever you are (Isaiah 60:2-4). As light have its advantage in darkness, it is time for the rising of your light. This is your season. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, energize me to be a solution to my world.
 
“IT IS IN DARKNESS THAT LIGHT SHINES”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
