  LOOKING UNTO HIM Psalms 34:1-7 Devotional:- “They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed” (V. 5) NKJV To enjoy the love of God for us, we must learn to keep looking unto Him. The scripture says, they looked unto him and were not ashamed. No one trusts in Him who will be ashamed at the end. It is amazing that Joseph, whom they sold as a slave, eventually became a ruler. Because that is God’s plan for Him (Genesis 45:1-9). Amazingly, Abraham, who had no children for almost a hundred years, at last became the father of eight children before he died (Genesis 25:1-2, 9). These are proofs of God’s faithfulness. Because He also has a plan for each of us, He does not want us to be discouraged or frustrated, but rather to keep looking unto Him. This is because He has a plan for us, and it shall surely come to pass. That is why He said, "I know the plans that I have for you; they are not of evil, but good, to give you a hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). H...

FAITH OF PASSOVER

Exodus 12:3-14
Devotional:- “And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two-door post and on the lintel of the house where they eat it” (V.7)

    Often time the doings of God come with ridiculous instructions. It may not always appeal to reasoning or science. But people who are wise to hear will not despise the instruction of God (Matthew 7:24).

God spoke to the children of Israel through Moses that they should kill an animal and mark their doorpost and lintel with it. This may look stupid but therein is their salvation. The children of Israel obeyed by faith and when the angel of destruction came, they and their household were exempted from the destruction that came over the land. Friend, it will be wise for you to take cover in the instruction of God.

All you need to do is to obey by faith. Be careful not to reason God’s instruction with your mind (Isaiah 55:8-9). The law of faith is whatever He tells you to do, do it (John 2:5). Instructions are the way out of destruction. Don’t join the disobedient children. Always put the blood of Jesus over all that you have. That is the price of your redemption. Whenever the enemy sees it, they know you are to be exempted. Abide in the will of God. And you will be secured and exempted.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always yield to your instructions.

“DISOBEDIENCE WILL AT LAST LEAD TO DESTRUCTION”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
