FLOATING AXE

FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As they were cutting the trees, the axe head fell into the deep river. And the man of God asked the Holy Spirit for what to do. The Holy Spirit was what they also depended upon, and there was a miracle. Friend, you also have the Holy Spirit. That stick is the word of God. Speak to the sinking situatio...

ABRAHAM’S DEPARTURE

ABRAHAM’S DEPARTURE

Genesis 12:1-7
Devotional:- “Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you” (V.1) NKJV

When God wants to do the unusual, He will always give ridiculous instructions. If God has been speaking to you on anything and it looks foolish; please settle down to obey. God suddenly called Abraham and asked him to leave his father’s house to a land He would show him. During this period such movement was not strange to warriors. They just get somewhere and establish a city. But that of Abraham was different. God Himself said I have a place I want to give you just follow. He did not complain or become afraid. He knew God was faithful.

Today that single action of Abraham has turned him into the father of many nations. Friend, you also need to believe God for His word. Don’t move when He has not spoken but if you are sure He has spoken please stop delaying. A delay is dangerous.

No matter what It may cost you to depart, it cannot be equal to the place of the promise God is taking you to. Only be sure you’ve heard Him and just obey. People may pity you but don’t let that disturb you. If He has called you, He will lead you to your wealthy place (Psalms 66:12). You will not miss your place in Jesus' name.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be sensitive to your leading.
