NOT AN ACCIDENT

NOT AN ACCIDENT Isaiah 44:1-5 Devotional:- “Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you: 'Fear not, O Jacob My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen” (V. 2) In discovering the purpose of your creation, it is important that you know that you did not evolve accidentally. You are a product of the conscious plan of God. The word of God says before we were formed in our mother’s womb, He knew us. This means, before you were in the womb of your parent you were first in the womb of the mind of God (Jeremiah1:5) God prescribe every single detail about your life before you were made. You colour, skin, hair or your race. He determines your skills, your uniqueness or your natural talents (Psalm 139:15). Your parent may not have planned your birth but God did. He chose your mother and your father to form the blood group He wants for you. He makes sure that you are raised in the right community and your background. All these things were determined...

SERVICE IN PATIENCE

SERVICE IN PATIENCE

Genesis 40:4-15
Devotional:- “And they said to him, "We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it." So Joseph said to them, "Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please”” (V. 8) NKJV

God has put in every man one thing or the other to be used to climb to the top. These are in the form of gifts, talents or call it potentials. God’s word says the gift of a man will make a way for him (Proverbs 18:16).

Joseph knew he was a man of destiny. God had revealed many things to him about it. However, challenges brought him to Egypt as a slave. And he gave himself to service. Using all the gifts and talents or potentials he found in himself to serve others. He gave his best in service by faith. He was convinced that his lifting would come. Service lifted him in Potiphar’s house but they sent him to prison (Genesis 39). Nevertheless, he kept serving by faith knowing that one day he would be lifted again.

Friend, start to serve with your gifts and talents. It is an act of faith for your lifting (Mark 10:43-45). Make others better with your gift. Don’t bother what it is going to cost you to do this. Do not wait for any appreciation either. Keep serving by faith. Wait patiently, soon God will open the door for you. That same potential shall be needed at the top and your announcement shall come.

Prayer: Lord, grant me the grace to keep serving faithfully.
