  WORSHIP John 4:10-26 Devotional:- “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him” (v.23) NKJV Many of us have not come to the level of understanding that God is more interested in building relationship with us than in meeting our needs. Actually, He desires to meet our needs, but fundamentally, He wants a relationship first. That is why most people don’t have a constant response from God, because He has discovered that they are much more after His gifts and not after Him as God. So also when Jesus discovered that people were following Him for the sake of fish and bread, He quickly discouraged the act (John 6:25-27). HOPE

Psalm 42:1-11
Devotional:- “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God” (v.11) NKJV

If any man will experience sustaining joy, he must first be hopeful. Hope is the strength of joy. Hope is the reason for the coming joy. It is an expectation according to the will of God. It is an assurance of a coming joy (Hebrews 12:2). It is also the strength of faith (Hebrews 11:1). If there is no hope, there may also not be joy, but a man of hope will continue in joy.

Oftentimes, we observe the current happenings around us, and it looks like there is no hope. The truth is that current events are not the determining factor for our tomorrow. God’s word says we cannot compare the suffering of now to the glory that is coming (Romans 8:18). The truth is that no hope can be genuine till it has a sure and certain promise. This is a promise that cannot fail, and that is why our hope should be in the promises of the word of God. The bible is referred to as the sure word (2 Peter 1:19). This means the word cannot fail. The word is the truth.

You can, therefore, base your hope on the assurance of God’s word. Since the word of God cannot fail, you have a sure hope. No matter what the situation may look like now, hope in God’s word; do not base your decision and conclusion on past experiences or current happenings. God can bring change anytime, and if you can keep your hope according to God’s word, you can be sure your tomorrow will lead to greater testimony for your joy. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, help me to keep my hope in you.
“HOPE IS THE ONLY GUARANTEE OF A COMFORTING JOY”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
