LEARN AND RELATE

LEARN TO RELATE Romans 12:14-21  Devotional:- “Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited” (v. 16) NIV. We live in a world today that promotes youthful excesses more than that of the mature. We do this in the name of youthful innovations. That is why no office wants to employ relatively old individuals any more. It’s a competitive world. This is making a greater percentage of the world fail in the area of relationships. This is because it is a youthful idea to think you don’t need others. The world of this age is trying to build self-sufficient people. This is the reason many have not learnt the wisdom of relationships. For this reason, today, many people don’t have a home. Many have lost their job and joy. Many have missed many opportunities. The scripture we read today teaches us the right attitude to enjoy a relationship with others. Be careful of pride or overvaluing yourself (Romans 12:...

LIGHTEN YOUR BURDEN

 LIGHTEN YOUR BURDEN

I Peter 5:6-11
Devotional:- “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (v.7) NKJV

Until a man truly learns the act of offloading the garbage of his life experience, he cannot experience the true life of joy. The truth is that joy and worry cannot co-exist. When the heart of a man is heavy, he cannot pretend to be happy. That is why he will need to lighten up always.

In our scripture today, the Bible teaches us about casting our cares upon God. Our cares are things that burden our mind, which strongly hold our hearts with sorrow. These are in most cases, the challenges that we face. The way of escape the Lord has made for us from such a trap is to cast our cares on Him. This is simply by believing in His care for us and by the same faith committing those challenges to Him in prayer. After which, by faith also we receive our liberty for joy.

Be aware that needs will always come to create burdens on us. That is why you must let the system of joy flow and never allow the burden of sorrow. If not, your joy will be threatened. If you have to organise yourself out of it, then sit down with joy produced by faith. Plan and prevail prayerfully (Isaiah 12:3), knowing fully well that God will surely answer your prayers. God’s word says He cares for you. So create this flowing system, and you will always be joyful in this world of sorrow.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always cast my burden on you.
“ANYTIME YOU CARRY MORE THAN YOUR CAPACITY, THERE IS BOUND TO BE TENSION”
