MY SALVATION Habakkuk 3:9-19 Devotional:- “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation” (V. 18). NKJV In the scripture today, Habakkuk made bold to say that even though the works of his hands are not prospering, even if his Labour fails, even if there is no food to eat, and his pocket is empty, yet he will rejoice in the Lord. What is the secret of Habakkuk? I will joy in the God of my salvation..., the Lord is my strength” A man who has experienced the salvation of the Lord can trust God for anything. If God could give his only son for our salvation. There is nothing else that he cannot offer freely to us  (Romans 8:32). And His salvation is our strength.  In salvation is great joy, irrespective of what is happening around you. To be saved is to allow Jesus to dwell in our heart (Revelation 3:20). When you allow Him to dwell in your heart, His joy will be established in you. You will always remember His saving grace gives you victory over all ...

CELEBRATION

 CELEBRATION

2 Chronicles 30:21-27
Devotional:- “So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the time of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem” (v.26) NKJV

When we make ourselves available for the service of the Lord, we plug our lives into joy. This is because we are actually created to serve the Lord (Revelation 4:11). And when anyone finds himself doing what he is created to do, he finds fulfilment.

The children of Israel in the time of Hezekiah, the king, gathered together to celebrate the feast of Passover. This was one of the feasts God commanded. This celebration is an opportunity to serve the Lord. They came together to yield in obedience to God’s instruction, and this produced great joy among them. Some cooking, some cleaning and others involved in other things just to make the feast successful.

See, you need to know that you are not just created to go to school, work, earn, build a house, buy cars, have a wife, children and die. Life’s purpose is more than all of that. God created you to serve Him. The question is, what is your ministry? What exactly are you doing for God to bless others? This is what will keep speaking when you would have passed away. Material wealth will finish, but the people you have blessed will keep the memory of what you’ve done, and they will forever be grateful. Prayerfully consider what you need to start doing to serve the Lord and begin to do it with joy. Then you will find joy established in your life and family.

Prayer: Lord, use me for the work of your kingdom.
“SERVING THE LORD IS LIVING IN PURPOSE, WHICH ALONE BRINGS FULFILLMENT”
