FLOATING AXE

FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As they were cutting the trees, the axe head fell into the deep river. And the man of God asked the Holy Spirit for what to do. The Holy Spirit was what they also depended upon, and there was a miracle. Friend, you also have the Holy Spirit. That stick is the word of God. Speak to the sinking situatio...

PRISON TO PALACE

PRISON TO PALACE

Genesis 41:37-44
Devotional:- “You shall have charge over my house, and all my people shall be governed according to your word [with reverence, submission, and obedience]. Only in matters of the throne will I be greater than you are” (V. 40) AMPL

People in this world go through so many challenges. But this does not mean that God’s power for victory is no longer available. A reason for God allowing us to go through challenges is for our training and raising us for our throne in the process of correcting and reforming us. Yet in the midst of these all, God's word made provision for our victory at last (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Joseph was a typical person destined to be great like you, but the enemy ganged up against him from his house and sold him to slavery. Yet God never forgets him. The enemy was not satisfied yet with him though in slavery and so entered into his owners' wife to lie against him till he bagged prison terms. All of these were not enough to put off the light of the glory of his destiny. But because of God's reunion ability at the appointed time, he was brought to the palace.

Friend, if only you will continue to serve this God, He will do the same in your life. He will at last give you victory over the challenges you are facing now. No matter how strong your challenges are they cannot destroy your destiny. God is jealously keeping it. That is why you must not give up on serving the Lord and in pursuit of your goal in life (Jeremiah 29:11). God's plan for you cannot change unless you disallow Him yourself. He will soon bring you to your place of glory and all eyes shall see it (1saiah 40:5).

Prayer: Lord, take me to my place of destiny.

“IF YOU WOULD NOT STOP FOLLOWING THE WAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS YOUR LIFE WILL SOON BE RIGHT”
