  FORGIVING YOURSELF Luke 22:54-62  Devotional:- “So Peter went out and wept bitterly.bitterly.” (V.62) NKJV Before a man can begin to enjoy the expressive love of God in his life, he must learn the act of self-forgiveness. Self-condemnation is always a terrible permission for the devil to take over in the life of a believer. This can make him lose his self-worth in God’s presence. It can make a believer lose his authority in Christ. It can make a believer lose his joy and build an environment of sorrow. And you need to know that the environment of sorrow removes from you the presence of God. He only dwells where there is fullness of joy (Psalms 16:11). Unforgiveness can make a man build an atmosphere of fear and then permit the presence of demons. This also breeds discouragement and frustration and makes the life of its victim miserable. The wonderful thing in the scripture we read today is that, though Peter denied Christ publicly and committed a grievous sin, he did not let...

NEVER SLEEP

Psalm 121:1-8
Devotional :- “Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep” (V. 4) AMPL

    A terrible plague that is fast bewitching this generation is insecurity. The increase in poverty is fast creating the reaction of wickedness in society. The enemy often enters his children to perpetrate all forms of wickedness. The enemy is putting in his best to take over campuses for darkness. But thanks be to God who is fast taking over the earth by the understanding of the Lordship of Christ through His children.

Amid all this wickedness, God's word gives us sound and solid security in God. The word of God said He that is keeping watch over us does not slumber nor sleep. Men are too special to him to be left carelessly for destruction (Isaiah 43:1-4).

Now I know that it is for our sake that heaven never experiences night so that they can always be on duty over the earth. See, your God is never off duty.

Friend, with all this heavy heavenly security you should have the soundest sleep. Let your heart be at rest. You don't have to be careless but you don't also have to be careful; with anxiety and fear. If you can believe in the word of truth then you will enjoy your life. Do you know that God's angels are always on guard for you? That is why you are never alone (Psalm 91:10-12). Believe God's for your security and safety. Refuse to be afraid and your peace and progress shall be great.

Prayer: Lord thank you because your angels always watch over me.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
