HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

MIRACLE HEALTH

MIRACLE HEALTH

Deuteronomy 34:1-8
Devotional:- "And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated” (V. 7) KJV

Long life has suddenly become a scarce commodity in the world today. Many are dying at ridiculous ages now. Instead of the rate of death to decrease because of medical development, the development itself has become the instrument of destruction.

We read in the scripture today about Moses the man of God. He was a man known for many challenges. He was a man who had to face fasting for days because of waiting on the Lord. His life was full of much confrontation and criticism. He was a man confronted severally by different forces of life. Yet a power of God saw him through all of these and he lived long. It was not just his body that remained intact till the age of 120 years but God's sustaining grace. God will often invite him for a mountain talk. And his eyes were not deemed nor his strength diminished.

That same God can heal you and restore your health (Exodus 15:26). He can sustain your strength to the end. Your eyes will continue to see clearly and your bones will continue to grow stronger. I observe that there are two things responsible for the health of Moses; it is that he was living in the purpose of God and obedience to God's instruction. If you can also discover your purpose in life and live in it, then be obedient to God's instruction and you will not only live-in good health but also live long. He said He would not allow sickness to come around you if you would obey Him (Exodus 15:26). And He will satisfy you with long life (Psalm 91:16).

Prayer: Lord, bring my family and me into your divine health.
