HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

CROSSING JORDAN

CROSSING JORDAN

Devotional:- “that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho.” (V. 16) NKJV

God is a specialist in doing the unusual. What is impossible with men is possible with God. No situation can be called impossible with Him. He can always turn situations around. When He steps into any situation all forces responsible submits and down tools.

God’s people were about to cross into their possession just like you. But there was a barrier ahead. This barrier was a river that had overflown its boundary at this time. And so, it became dreadful to pass over it. This was a river they had no information about. There was no geographer to tell them about the depth and other nature. All they knew was that they needed to cross the river to their Canaan. When they called on God, He asked them to step into it by following the priest. And the dreadful river was parted before them.

The truth is that, we have so many corrupt men of God in the world today, yet God had delegated some faithful ones to lead many into their destinies. That is why you need to identify the servant of God in your life and destiny. They must be leaders through example. Then you can be sure that your Jordan will part for you. And right in that place, you can cross to your Canaan. From now God will begin to reveal His glory through you. For those who think you will die on this side, they will be amazed to find you on the other side. And you shall be a testimony.

Prayer: Lord, it’s my turn to cross over.
