  ACCEPT HIM  John 1:1-12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:“ (V.12) NKJV It will be completely out of place for a woman to haven married to a man and later begin to say He is not acceptable to her. God does not encourage such excuse. Even though these do happen to some people but it is not the will of God. Many of such got married and ignorantly allowed their love to be blind, some moments after marriage the love will regain it full sight. That is why I tell people, it is foolish love that is blind. Open your two eyes very well. No matter how the nose, mouth, or leg of the sister or the brother now looks like, what God join together let no mouth or nose put asunder. The only solution is they should accept one another as they are, then resume into the responsibility of influencing and building each other (Proverbs 14:1). So also as children of God, we must accept or receive God just the way He is...

OUR SHIELD

Psalm 84:1-12
Devotional:- “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (V. 11).

    A shield is an instrument of protection from the flying arrows. A shield is an instrument used at war by the army to protect themselves from the attack of the enemy. So, shield is a very vital and viable instrument. But as good as it is it cannot function by itself. That is why some soldiers can be destroyed despite the shield in their hands. Men of war must be strong for them to overcome despite the weapons in their hands.

But you know that sometimes despite the good weapons in the hand of a man he could become weak and may soon be defeated. That is why our protection as God’s children does not depend on our strength. God Himself is our shield. We therefore have a living shield and not non-living material. The strength of our shield does not diminish nor depend on our strength.

All you need to do is to trust in your shield. Believe that God is your shield as He has said in His word. And it shall always be unto you according to your faith. Always believe Him to protect you both in the house, while you are on a journey, or in the office or school. No matter what the world may be facing, you and your family shall be exempted. And your days shall be with peace.

Prayer: Lord, be my shield all day long.

“WHEN GOD IS YOUR SHIELD NIGHT OR DAY WILL BE SAFE FOR YOU”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
