HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

GOD OF VICTORY

GOD OF VICTORY

1 Samuel 17:39-50
Devotional:- “This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” (V.46) NKJV

Victory in life is not necessarily to the strong and is not often determined by the human power. All through the scripture God is proved to be a victorious God. It has never happened in history that God is involved in a battle and His people were defeated. He will always win every battle. This is because all power that be is of God.

Even though David was a very young and tender boy of about sixteen years he was able to overcome Goliath because he trusted in God (1 Samuel 17:45). Though Goliath was a giant and experienced warrior that has nothing to do with the strength of God but David was trusting in God. David did not have the expertise or weapon but he had an expert God. And at last, Goliath was defeated.

See, the forces against you are too small for God to handle. If you can put trust in Him, He will fight for you. All you need to do is to hand over the battle, that examination or interview to Him. Nothing can defeat you when you trust not in your power but in His. He is the God of victory. He is a master strategist. So, he will guide your heart into victory over all that confronts your life and you shall overcome.

Prayer: Lord, take over the battle of my life.

“YOUR STRENGTH COULD FINISH BUT THE ONE BEHIND YOU DETERMINES YOUR VICTORY”
