DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. GOD’S DESIRE

GOD’S DESIRE

III John 1-3
Devotional:- “Beloved, I wish above all things that, thou mayest prosper and be in health. Even as thy soul Prospereth” (V2) KJV

God’s ultimate desire is that all men will prosper. He has made and perfected all things for our prosperity. The first pronunciation God made to the man at creation was blessing. The creation of the entire world is basically to enhance our prosperity. It is His joy that we succeed and prosper. God owns no glory in a man’s poverty and failure. Do you know that God is the brain behind everyone coming to the earth? We are here on His mission. So, when a man fails, God also shares in the failure. This is because one of the works of His hand has failed. It is only when God has done all to be done and man failed by his own choice that God is exempted.

In other words, your failure adds no profit to God. And that is why you must not choose to fail but take responsibility to prosper. And you will prosper.

No matter your current status or age, all you need is to be willing to obey God's instruction and follow His wisdom to prosper. And you will surely prosper. In God's agenda, you are enlisted among those who will prosper. The condition is that your mind should be prosperous. And that is accepting with God to a great level that you can and shall prosper. The Scriptures we read today are not for some other people but for you. Since your life follows your heart, if your heart accepts prosperity then it becomes possible for you (Proverbs 23:7). I know you are about to enter a new realm of prosperity. For the Lord your God will lead you into it (Isaiah 48:17). And you Shall prosper in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Lord, give me a prosperous heart.
