SERVE HIM

SERVE HIM John 12:20-30  Devotional:- “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor” (V. 26) NKJV One of the demands of love is a sense of responsibility towards one another. A very sincere definition of love is responsibility. True love is known in willingness to serve each other. Your level of love for a man is determined by the level of commitment you have to his life and destiny. You cannot prove that you love someone without showing a strong level of responsibility to such. This means true love is embedded in serving one another. One of the strong teachings of Jesus to us, as His lover, is that we must be ready to lay down our lives in service to bless others, as He did for us. That is why He said, “He who loves his life shall lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life” (John 12:25). Unless we are willing to sow and be sown in service, we may not p...

ETERNAL GOD

ETERNAL GOD

Deuteronomy 33:24-29
Devotional:- “The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arm.” (V. 27) KJV

God is eternal. He is God without a beginning or end. He is the God who has been, who is, and is to come. He is the God that has been in the dateless past. And when nothing else will be He will continue to be. Eternity is simply an existence of no beginning nor end. So, He is the beginning of all things and He will be the end of all things (Revelation 1:8).

You must know that there is no other god nor forces that existed before your God. He is the one who created all things including the devil. So, it should be very clear to you that your God has no senior not only in age but in all ratification. So, when God is standing no other forces has the right to stand. That is why the Bible says at the mention of the name of Jesus every knee shall bow (Philippians 2:5-9).

He is not the age mate of anyone. That is why when He instructs us it will be a lack of respect for us to disobey. He is the one referred to as the ancient of days. That is why He can know all things. He cannot die nor be weary (Isaiah 40:28). Refusing to walk in His wisdom is altogether foolishness. You will therefore be wise to always honor and obey Him so that He can also bring you to honor (I Samuel 2:30). And you will also enjoy your eternity in God.

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart to always honor you.

“WHEN YOU SERVE THE ETERNAL GOD, YOU ARE ETERNALLY SAFE”
