JOY Scripture Reading: Nehemiah 8:1-11 Devotional:- “Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."” (v. 10) NKJV      Whenever we look into the subject of joy, the people of the world always mistaken to be happiness. Happiness is produced by happenings, an event or a result. The truth is that there is no permanent event or result in this world. This makes it impossible for happiness to give a lasting joy. For example, as a football fan, your team may win today and lose tomorrow. When they win, you have strength in your mouth to talk. But when they lose, the strength is gone.

FELLOWSHIP   Scripture Reading: Hebrews 12:18-24 Devotional:- “to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel” (v. 24) NKJV     One of the greatest avenue to contact the strength of God is through consistent fellowship with children of God. This is because the Spirit of God is always present, wherever the children of God are gathered. When the gathering is to the glory of God, surely, the Holy Spirit will move in the midst of the people to declare the mystery of God through the leaders. There will always be the release of the energy of the spirit wherever the mystery of the word of God is shared (Luke 24:32). When the energy of God is released the people increase in strength (Psalms 84:7).

WORSHIP Scripture Reading: Revelation 5:1-14 Devotional:- “Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints” (v. 8) NKJV      If you want to see the manifestation of the power of God in your life, then you need to be used to a live a life style of worship. To a religious mind, worship is mere singing in the church. But you need to know that worship is fellowshipping with the supernatural God. It makes you enjoy supernatural insight for solution. It makes you enjoy cheap instructions for your directions (Act 13:2).

MENTAL STRENGTH Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:6-16 Devotional:- “For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ” (v. 16) NKJV      Our mind is the processor for our strength. Our mind is the place where the strength of life is directed before it manifests physically. That is why it is the state of the mind of a man that determines the strength of his life. No matter how strong spiritually a man could be, if the mind is not cooperating, the man will still be weak. It is the mind that is the battle ground of life. That is why you must avoid sin to avoid condemnation. The act of condemnation will always break down the strength of the mind. If anyone is walking after the flesh or worldly way the devil will always push such to condemnation (Romans 8:1). 

KNOWLEDGE Scripture Reading: Daniel 11:29-34 Devotional:- “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits” (v. 32) NKJV        In this last days, the forces of the devil is becoming so fierce-full. That is why you must be strong. Please know that the secret of your strength is hidden in knowledge. This is not mere information, but the unfolding of the spirit behind the word. When the spirit behind the word is released, the result is production of strength (Ezekiel 2:2).

FAITH​​​ Scripture Reading: Romans 10:13-21 Devotional:- “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (v.17)NKJV      Faith will become a natural life style when you start to fellowship in the presence of God. Faith is the key for the manifestation of the power of God in the life of a child of God. Faith is the energy of the spirit in display. Faith is the release of the authority of the spirit manifesting through a child of God. Faith is putting you in command. Faith is what is deposited in you that make you bold enough to confront the fiery darts of the devil (Ephesians 6:16). Man can connect with faith through the release and ejection of the word of God (Romans 10:17). 

MEDITATION ​​​ Scripture Reading: Psalms 119:97-104 Devotional:- “I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation” (v. 99) NKJV      Meditation is one of the instruments that transmit spiritual strength to physical manifestation. It is meditation that connects a soul to the reservoir of the strength of the spirit. When you learn to always meditate you will always enjoy what is called the revelation of mysteries of God which will often deposit in you the energy of the spirit. When the mysteries are revealed to you, you suddenly become rude to the ruling forces. That is why Jesus said, knowing the truth will set you free (John 8:32).

PRAYER AND FASTING Scripture Reading: Matthew 17:14-21 Devotional:- “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting" (v. 21) NKJV        To gain spiritual strength, a man must create avenue to overcome the flesh. That is what makes praying and fasting very important. The flesh don’t ever want any inconveniences. The flesh wants pleasure and the enjoyment of this world. The Bible says “if we continue to live by the flesh, we will terminate our connection with God (Romans 8:5-8). The flesh always wants to drive to carnality and that is why whoever that wants to be strong in the spirit must deny it in prayer and fasting. Prayer and fasting is for you to gain spiritual muscles.

HOLY SPIRIT​​​ Scripture Reading: John 14:25-31 Devotional:- “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (v. 26) NKJV      The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of strength. The Holy Spirit is the link between man and God. It is like the SIM card in your phone. It is the SIM card that connects you to the telecom service provider. It is the SIM card that can empower your phone to function no matter how expensive. No matter who you are, if you lack the Holy Spirit, you will be a mere specimen in the hand of the devil. This is because his own SIM card will be in you (1 John 3:9-10). His own agenda is to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). That is why if you don’t have the Holy Spirit, you are not a child of God (Romans 8:9-14)

ANGELIC MINISTRY ​​​​ Scripture Reading: Zechariah 4:1-10 Devotional:- “So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts” (V. 6) NKJV      Every believer who wants to enjoy divine strength should wake up to the understanding that it takes the Hoy Spirit to tap into it. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God in man. No one can connect with God except by the spirit of God (Romans 8:9; 1 John 4:13-14). A man without the Holy Spirit is not connected to God.

SUBMISSION  Scripture Reading: Matthew 8:5-13 Devotional: -“For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it." (V. 9) NKJV       There is a strong need for people in this generation to understand the strength in submission. When God ask the women to submit to their husbands, it is a way to empower them in the house. Anyone you are submitting to will back you up. You enjoy the delegated authority of the one you submit to. You have the privilege to be supervised by the one you submit to and that will help you to avoid pitfall. It makes you command authority over people under you.

WAITING ON GOD Scripture Reading: Isaiah 40:25-31 Devotional:- “But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint” (v. 31) NKJV    Another factor of strength in God is to always wait on God. To wait on God is to acknowledge or always refer to Him for direction in all your ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). This is an act of allowing Him to lead you in all you are doing. This is because we know that He will not lead us into trouble (Isaiah 48:17-18). To wait on Him, as a waiter, is to allow Him to direct our ways (John 8:28; John 5:30).

PRESENCE OF GOD Scripture Reading: Numbers 14:1-10 Devotional:- “Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD is with us. Do not fear them" (V. 9) NKJV        For anyone to be strong as a child of God, he/she must carry a mindset of the presence of God. God said to us that He will never leave nor forsake us (Joshua 1:5). Jesus said, “He will be with us forever” (Matthew 28:20). These are the truth of the word of God. To be strong, a man must believe and accept this truth as a reality for himself. You must always see God himself. You must always see God behind you with your eyes of imagination according to the word of God (John 8:29).

CLOSE RELATIONSHIP Scripture Reading: Luke 5: 12-16 Devotional: “So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed” (v. 16) NKJV      For anyone to gain strength in God, such must choose to have close relationship with God. Some people always want to withdraw from the presence of God. They feel it will make them to be over spiritual and no more social. But the truth is that they cannot be strong in the Lord. Yes, they will be socially relevant and even have some money. But in the days of challenges, they will not be able to stand (Proverbs 24:10).

PLEASURE MENTALITY Scripture Reading: Luke 8:11-15 Devotional:- “Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity” (v. 14) NKJV        One of the tricks of the devil to make people weak in this generation is the deceitfulness of pleasure. Man in their natural state tend to be deceived into pleasure mentality. There is nothing wrong in having pleasure, but pleasure mentality takes delight in idleness and continuous enjoyment. There is no one who want to focus on continuous enjoyment that will not fail at last in life (Proverbs 21:12).

WISDOM Scripture Reading: Ecclesiastics 7:15-21 Devotional:- “Wisdom strengthens the wise More than ten rulers of the city” (v. 19) NKJV      Wisdom is strength. It will always prevail in all situations. Wisdom is strong enough to defeat a strong man. When a man is equipped with wisdom, he will keep increasing in an unstoppable way. Wisdom will take victory before the battle ever began. Wisdom would have gone far ahead before many wakes up. Wisdom will always make you strong for victory (Proverbs 24:5).

FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE Scripture Reading: Proverbs 31:10-22 Devotional:- “She considers a field and buys it; From her profits she plants a vineyard” (v. 16) NKJV      In most third world countries, the major reason for lack, frustration and inability to rise is financial illiteracy. To be financially illiterate is to be uninformed of how to effectively make, manage and multiply money. When people lack the understanding of the way of making money, they become wicked and dangerous people to live with (Proverbs 29:18).

WICKED VOW Scripture Reading: Proverbs 7:10-23 Devotional:- “I have peace offerings with me; Today I have paid my vows” (v. 14) NKJV      So many people often lose their strength to a demonic vow. People who have vowed to bring others down from whatever level they found them. They are bent on being a vessel of the devil. Their victims are often destroyed beyond repair. Such will not succeed over you in Jesus name.

PRIDE Scripture Readings: Daniel 4:28-37 Devotional:- “That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like eagles' feathers and his nails like birds' claws” (v. 33) NKJV      One of the instruments of the devil to destroy people's strength is pride. Whatever reason a man is proud is not wisdom. The word of God says “when you see pride coming, a fall is bound to follow”. There is no height a man has attained that pride cannot bring him down. It brought Nebuchadnezzar to years of living like an animal (Daniel 4:33). It made the prodigal son to waste his father’s resources (Luke 15:13). Please be careful of pride.

DISCOURAGEMENT ​​​ Scripture Readings: 1 Samuel 30:1-8 Devotional:- “Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters.But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God” (v. 6) NKJV      The strength of every child of God is in courage of faith. That is why God told Joshua to be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:6). The opposite of courage is discouragement. The devil having known that your strength for victory and progress is in courage will always want to discourage you.

TRICKS​​​​ Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 2:3-11 Devotional:- “lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices” (v. 11) NKJV      Some people always think they can handle the devil without God. I always tell people not to try it. He is far wiser. Your strength for victory is mainly in God. (Philippians 4:13). A major reason we should have nothing to do with him is that he operates with tricks and gimmicks. The devil always tries to come into issues in a subtle way. It was through this he was able to get Eve

UNGODLY FELLOWSHIP Scripture Reading: Judges 16:11-22 Devotional:- “And she said, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" So he awoke from his sleep, and said, "I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free!" But he did not know that the LORD had departed from him” (v. 20) NKJV      There is a factor that will always have a strong influence on human being which is fellowship. The group of people or community you are fellowshipping with will go a long way to determine your life result positively or negatively. Every man draw strength or weaknesses from the kind of fellowship they attend (Psalms 1:1-3; Proverbs 13:20).

DISOBEDIENCE  Scripture Reading: Isaiah 1:11-20 Devotional: - But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword"; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken” (v. 20) NKJV      One of the factors that can destroy the strength of anyone is disobedience to God. The reason why people easily disobey God is because they can not understand the ways of God. Such only depend on the physical to determine their actions. But the way of God is not mostly physical.

FEAR​​​​ Scripture Reading: Numbers 13:26-33 Devotional:- There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight" (v.33) NKJV      One of the instruments that destroy the strength of man is fear. Man will be afraid when he has no clue of the forces confronting him. Or when he has wrong information about the forces confronting him. Anyone can be afraid when he/she is intimidated by the forces against (2 Chronicles 32:10-15). Anyone will surely be afraid when he/she look down on him/herself and rate the enemy to be greater.

FULFILLING DESTINY​​ Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 17:31-40 Devotional:- “Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God." (v. 36) NKJV ​​      It's important you realize that you are in this world to carry out an assignment for God. That is your purpose. The only people who are counted successful in this world by God are those who fulfill their purpose. For you to be able to fulfill your purpose on earth, you must be very strong. This is because; your purpose is a part of divine agenda in fulfilling the plan of God. Though, the devil will do everything to stop your purpose but you must become unstoppable.

PROGRESSIVE EXPLOIT Scripture Reading: Proverbs 4:14-19 Devotional: - “But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day” (v. 18) NKJV      No one can be happy when there is no progress in his/her life. Making progress demand some factors, and it is only when those factors are put in place that meaningful progress can be made. This is because the act of progress is an action and every action will be confronted with some reactions.

BE STRONG Scripture Reading: Ephesians 6:10-20 Devotional:- “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might” (v. 10) NKJV      A major reason you and I need to grow our strength in God is because we can only win when we are stronger than the forces against us. The strength we need for our victory is of the Lord and not of man. So, as children of God it's time to grow our strength in God.

TIMEOUT FOR WEAKNESSES Scripture Reading: Nehemiah 4:7-14 Devotional:- “Then Judah said, "The strength of the laborers is failing, and there is so much rubbish that we are not able to build the wall." (V 10) NKJV      In this challenging time, the weak will suffer. So, you cannot afford to be weak. The devices of the devil are so terrible now and only the strong can be free. Those who enjoy being weak Christian because of the enjoyment of the world are in great time of agony on every side.

HARD TIMES​​​ Scripture Reading: 2Timothy 3:1-9 Devotional:- “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come” (V. 1) NKJV      Jesus did not leave us in doubt of the events of the end time. Jesus told us that the end time shall be hard time (Matthew 24:15-28). Jesus said “it is because of the elect that the days will be made short (Matthew 24:22). The reason for the hard time is because the devil is winding up his wicked tenure. So, he is running his last race to get the largest sum of the human generation to hell (Revelation 12:12).

MADE WITH STRENGTH Scripture Reading: Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him” (v.4) NKJV      Every man is made with strength. There is no one created to be weak. At creation, God gave man the assignment of dominion, and that is not to the weak (Genesis 1:28). The natural instinct of strength is in you. Weakness is not made by God, it is a by-product sin. It was when Adam and Eve sinned that they make statement of fear and weaknesses (Genesis 3:8-10).
