THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. God is starting a brand-new thing with you. He is giving you new experiences of success and breakthrough. You need to lea...

IN HIS WILL

IN HIS WILL

2 Corinthians 1:1-15
Devotional:- “Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia” (v.1) NKJV

Sometimes when we are faced with diverse persecutions or trials, we ask if God has called us. Some even condemn themselves and comment that God has left them. At such a time, many Christians just go about as though God is no more for them, and in most cases, the devil wants to take advantage and bring discouragement and frustration. Sometimes when our expectation is not forthcoming as we expect, we are often found in this situation.

Whatever the case may be, no matter how bad the circumstance may look like, make sure you are in the centre of the will of God. Make sure you are not rebelling against God. This is the reason many have been facing persistent frustration. God is not a wicked God, but outside His will, you may find things difficult. The enemy will look too strong when we are out of His will. Despite his slavery experience, Daniel resolved not to defile himself, and he was brought into glory. Joseph, despite his problems and challenges yet he remained in the will of God, and he was brought into the palace in Egypt.

The scripture we read today shows us Paul, an Apostle in the will of God. If you are in His will, though you may face trials but your matter will always turn out to be a testimony (Luke 21:12-13). Friend, check up. Don’t just continue suffering. Ask yourself, am I in the will of God? If you are not, relocate yourself into His will, and you will begin to recover all that you’ve lost.

Prayer: Lord, reveal your will for my life to me.
