THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. SPIRITUAL EYES

SPIRITUAL EYES

Genesis 13:8-18
Devotional:- “for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever” (V.15) NKJV

To victoriously enter your heritage in this world, you must grow your spiritual eyes. That is, you must be able to see what is going to happen before it happens. You must not be unaware of the events of life. You must see ahead to be able to take advantage of all situations. That is when you can be victorious.

In our scripture today, God told Abraham to view the land and as far as he can see, it will be his. But how far can a man’s physical eyes see? Can he see Israel's geographical location at a glance? But God was training Abraham to exercise his spiritual eyes.

To grow your spiritual eyes, you need to start to see deep into the Word of God. When God speaks to us, he expects us to understand what He is saying (Jeremiah 33:3) or see what he wants to show us. We need to start turning the scripture into a picture. Start to imagine what God is saying and believe that no one will deny you of it (Gen 11:6, 13:15). This is the beginning of revelation. See your glorious future. Set your glorious restoration according to the word of God, and they shall be established for you.

Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to see wonders in thy law.
