  GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). If you don’t know that you have any of this gift, it is because you have not care...

BE A BLESSING

Acts 10:34-43
Devotional:- “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” (V.38) NKJV

    God has created each one on the earth to be a blessing to nations (Genesis 12:1-3; Jeremiah 1:5). So, He has loaded us with unique abilities to be a blessing to people around us. No matter what you may be going through, one of the ways to sail through is by being a blessing.

In the scripture we read today, as much as Jesus was being persecuted, He kept being a blessing to His world. And up to date, we are still tapping into His goodness. Notice the life of Joseph also, as much as he was persecuted as much as he kept being a blessing. And eventually he also fulfilled his destiny notwithstanding the enemies (Genesis 41:39-40). Do you know you are created for others? When Jesus was born, the angel sang that joy to the world (Luke 2:10). Do you know you are also a destiny sent to give joy to the world, to put a smile on the faces of the confused and frustrated?

Friend, anywhere you might have found yourself today, in that office, home, school or church, God has put you there to be a blessing; keep on being of help to everyone around you. Let God use you to change that company for good. Put in your best in that house and group to make things go forward, and you will soon be located for promotion. There is something in you that can do what will promote someone, go ahead and do it. Can you sing? Then show up in the church. Don’t stay back. Soon, the world will know you, and you shall shine. As God sees it in your heart to be a blessing, then He will keep on blessing you and greatness will soon answer to you.

Prayer: Lord, make me a help to others in my life. 

“GOD WILL ONLY FLOW TO THOSE WHO ARE WILLING TO FLOW OUT”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
