DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. WORRY

WORRY

Matthew 6:25-34
Devotional:- “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin” (V28) NKJV

A life of worry has become natural with some people. It is even in the nature and tradition of some tribes in the world. People believe that it is the practice of the mature to be worried and when you don’t entertain worry to such you look careless. The disciples ask Jesus that question before, “…teacher do you not care that we are perishing?” (Mark 4:38)

We need to know that caring is good but it is not the same as worry. Caring is assisting to put something back into shape while worry is getting tensed and disturbed because we are afraid that the situation may not succeed. So, worry is fear and doubt. You need to know that fear is the opposite of faith. Whatever is not of faith is a sin. God did not create us with tension. It is the deception of the devil.

Please learn to rather seek to know what to do and when you have done your best possible hand over the rest to God and take your peace. Please know that you do not know all things. Always seek God for a solution and take to His instruction. He will honour your little wisdom plus faith rather than worry and doubt. Stop committing things to His hand and still carry it about. Then He will prove His power in your life.

Prayer: Lord, help me always to trust things to your hand.

“YOUR LIFE MATTERS ARE HEAVIER THAN YOU AND YOU ARE NOT DESIGNED TO CARRY IT ALONE, LEAVE IT TO GOD”
