  JOY IN TRUSTING GOD Proverbs 16:16-26 Devotional:- “He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he” (V. 20) NKJV Living in doubts, fears, and anxieties cause sadness and sorrows in the lives of people. Sometimes it’s so bad that it leads to depression and ill health. One of the reasons for this is often our inability to trust God in times of need. Whenever there is a delay in our expectations, we easily struggle with our relationship with God.  But when a man trusts in the Lord, he will not see the troubles around, he will only see the promises of God that can never fail; and that will bring great joy, peace and happiness. People around him will wonder what is giving him such joy even in the face of imminent challenges. Beloved God loves you. He cares about you. He has promised to help you (Isaiah 41:10). FEAR

FEAR 

Matthew 8:23-27
Devotional:- “Bt He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm” (V.26) NKJV

    Fear is created with us for something good, to fear and refrain from doing evil because you know the judgment of God on evil. This is the fear of God. The consequences of evil are never good. This is referred to by Solomon as the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). This is the fear that will not want us to disobey God (Genesis 39:9). This makes us afraid to do evil, but when sin dwells in the heart of people, they now live in fear because they are not able to do what is good. For this reason, the son of God came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). One of those works of the devil is fear over many things.

In the scripture we read today, Jesus rebuked the disciples for being afraid. Because of their fear, they could not use their faith to stop the storm. Jesus expected them to know that since He was in the boat and they couldn't perish.

See, you have to trust God to the point of letting Him handle what you cannot handle. Refuse to be afraid; since God is with you. If God be for us who can be against us (Romans 8:31). You better stop that fear. All that the devil is aiming is to shake your faith (Luke 22:31 -32), but when you refuse to fear, he will give up on you.

Declaration: I shall no more be fearful in Jesus' name.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
