LIVING WITH PURPOSE

LIVING WITH PURPOSE Proverbs 19:16-23 Devotional – “You can make many plans, but the LORD's purpose will prevail” (v. 21 NLT) Living on purpose is the only way to really live; everything else just merely exists. Most people struggle with these three questions in life; WHO AM I? (Identity); WHY AM I MADE? (Purpose); WHAT IS MY PLACE IN LIFE? (Impact). The answers to these entire questions are found in five Gods purpose for you. Now that you know God’s purpose for your life, it is important you live in it. For you not to drift away from the most important things of life, it is important to develop a purpose statement for your life and regularly review it. This is a statement that summarizes God’s purpose for your life (Psalm 39:11). It is a statement that point the direction of your life (Proverbs 4:26). AUTHORITY

AUTHORITY

Luke 10:17-20
Devotional:- “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (V. 19) NKJV

Some things are identified with faith. Wherever you see faith, it will also manifest. One of such virtue is authority. This is commanding a situation to come to its normal state. Authority is natural with a man of knowledge. That is why God’s word says a man of knowledge increases in strength (Proverbs 24:5). Knowledge itself puts man in a position of authority.

If you truly believe, you will be recognized by the authority you give or by the strength of your speech against anything contrary. This is because you see something disguising or trying to occupy where it’s not supposed to be, the knowledge of that deception will make you chase him out. It is like your child is trying to walk with one leg all the time; surely you will command him to put the leg down because you know that it is a deceit.

That is why you must not be ignorant of the devices of the devil (2 Corinthians 2:11). As soon as you see him trying to stay where he does not belong you chase him out (James 4:7). This is how you shall be known as a man or woman of faith and the enemy will be afraid of you. They know that you understand your authority in Christ.

Declaration: Devil, it is time for you to leave my life alone.

“IF YOU DON’T COMMAND THE DEVIL, HE WILL ALWAYS COMMAND YOU”
