LOOKING UNTO HIM

LOOKING UNTO HIM Psalms 34:1-7 Devotional:- “They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed” (V. 5) NKJV To enjoy the love of God for us, we must learn to keep looking unto Him. The scripture says, they looked unto him and were not ashamed. No one trusts in Him who will be ashamed at the end. It is amazing that Joseph, whom they sold as a slave, eventually became a ruler. Because that is God’s plan for Him (Genesis 45:1-9). Amazingly, Abraham, who had no children for almost a hundred years, at last became the father of eight children before he died (Genesis 25:1-2, 9). These are proofs of God’s faithfulness. Because He also has a plan for each of us, He does not want us to be discouraged or frustrated, but rather to keep looking unto Him. This is because He has a plan for us, and it shall surely come to pass. That is why He said, "I know the plans that I have for you; they are not of evil, but good, to give you a hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). H...

NEGATIVE INFORMATION

NEGATIVE INFORMATION

Mark 4:21-29
Devotional:- “Then He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given“ (V.24) NKJV

The strongest enemy of faith is negative information. It is negative information that produces the rest of the enemies of faith. It produces fear, doubt, worry, Impatience, pride, and more. I want to say that negative information is the greatest enemy of man. Through it, the devil often destroys and decomposes man to weakness.

Negative information is the message the enemy signals to deceive us. Since the creature of man, the enemy has found this weapon very potent and has been using it repeatedly. It was negative information that made Eve fall, and you and I need to be more careful.

The mediums of this destructive weapon are human comments, bad movies, bad books, or messages of fear sent to our nerves to destroy our confidence. The penalty of this is a lack of faith to take risks.

Jesus said in the scripture we read today ‘Take heed to what you hear. You need to choose your teacher. It is not everyone who are qualified to teach you. Whatever promotes fear, and doubt or makes you feel weak or unable is not of God. Learn to discern good messages and choose to listen to them and your life will be good.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be above negative information.

“INFORMATION WILL REFORM YOU EITHER POSITIVELY OR NEGATIVELY”
