HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

DOUBT

DOUBT

James 1:2-8
Devotional:- “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind” (V.6) NKJV

We need to understand the great effect of doubt. The moment we doubt, we agree with the devil to think and believe that God is not able. This will always bring man to the point of unbelief. Please know that it is in the principle of God that under this atmosphere He will not do anything (James 1:8)

Let us quickly locate the root of doubt and then we will have to deal with it. Doubt is a product of fear. Whenever an issue becomes dreadful, people quickly grow cold in faith and becomes doubtful. But why do men become afraid? Fear is a product of our focus on the problem. Then the enemy helps to falsely magnify the problem above the ability of God. This makes people conclude that God cannot help. Then, who then will? So, tension begins to build up.

If we can keep our focus on God and His power alone, we will not be afraid. And if we are not afraid, we will not doubt. Friend, watch out, for what you hear and see (Mark 4:24). The aim is to take your focus from God to your inability. Please always remember that with God all things are possible.

Prayer: Lord, help me to keep my focus on you alone.
