HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD

II Corinthians 10:1-6
Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV

Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church to think there are few limited people that can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church yet in time of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

David though a young boy, yet had strength in the Lord. Goliath looked at his physical size and saw nothing but the angel saw great strength. Inside David was the great I am. With just a stone, David brought Goliath down.

Please understand that what the Bible calls strength might look ordinary but mighty through God (2 Cor. 10:4). The name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus, the word of God are mighty through God. Strength in God is a strength taken by faith into your heart as the word of God said it.

Take in your mouth from now the name of Jesus; believe it as the word of God says it (Phil. 2:9) and every power will bow to you. Your victory has come. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, Strengthen My Heart By Faith In Your Word.

“WHATEVER YOU RELEASE BY FAITH ACCORDING TO THE WORD WILL RELEASE GOD’S POWER”
