HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

MAN OF WAR

MAN OF WAR

Exodus 15: 1-12
The LORD is a man of war; The LORD is His name. (V. 3)

Every man’s strength or weakness is traceable to his foundation. Your flow in life is not unconnected with your spring. God consciously chose each one’s background to provoke him to rise and He hides His glory in it. God prepares everyone for his glory to make all glory be unto Himself in the life of every one (Isaiah 48:11). So, if your background Is poor congratulations because in that poverty is hidden the strength of riches.

It is true that situations and challenges are making very many people on earth to be weak. So many are now weak in faith and hope; multitudes are weak in prayer and victory. The financial giants are now afraid and weak, men of great status are being reduced. The life of man is now been confronted by multitude of challenges and many people’s faith are becoming weak.

It Is important I remind you that you cannot afford to be weak in this time. This is because your God is referred to as a mighty man of war. God’s word says, He cannot grow weary (Isaiah 40:28). That is, His strength never diminishes. He cannot lose any battle; He is the strength of the victors. If He is your creator and your background in Christ, you cannot be weak. He in you makes you stronger than all that you can ever face. Please always reconnect to Him for restoration of your strength and situations of life will always bow to you. Your strength is renewed from now in Jesus name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, let your strength resume back to my life from within.

“IF HE THAT IS IN YOU IS STRONG, THEN LET THE STRENGTH FLOW THROUGH YOU”.
