ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM Proverbs 3:1-8  Devotional:- “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (v.6) KJV. To be able to enjoy God’s loving kindness, all of us must learn to always acknowledge God in all our decision-making. This simply means that we recognise Him as our owner and the one who is qualified to instruct us on where to turn. When we gave our lives to Christ, we all confessed Jesus as our Lord. This means we acknowledge Him as the one who has the final decision over our lives. But we often forget to carry Him along in making decisions that will, in the end, have a great adverse effect on our lives. If we are to enjoy the love and the goodness of the Lord, we must learn to acknowledge Him. And this is by patiently asking Him for His instructions for us. The truth is that He will always guide us. He said, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8). The truth is that you are gu...

YOU HAVE TO FIGHT

YOU HAVE TO FIGHT

Deuteronomy 20:1-4
“When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt” (V. 4) NKJV

God’s children must come to realize that our victory has been purchased by God but we have to fight to establish it in our life. If you have to face the devil, it will be impossible to defeat him. He was in a greater glory before than you are now. He has been in battle game before the creation of man (Revelation 12:7-8). He knows far more than we do. If we have to face him, there will be no victory; The saints in the Old Testament couldn’t withstand him. That is why Jesus came in form of man to defeat him for us (John 16:33). So, Christ has purchased for us victory and glory in God. Yet you must fight to claim your victory personally.

As we read today, God told the children of Israel that “when they go to battle.” That tells us that they must be ready for battle. The Bible says to us that we are not fighting against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). This word informs us that we must be ready for battle.

When God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He told them that He had given them their Canaan. But God instructed them that they must be ready to fight (Deuteronomy 2:24). This is because God is a Spirit And what we want in this world are physical. So, it will take a physical man to put physical things in place and that is why we are made physical. For example, it is not the way of God to help you buy your block and be your brick layer. He only needs to be in you for you to be able to do it. The one in you Is the great one. Arise and contend with the weapon of the Spirit. And physical attainment will bow to you. Peace!
