HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

STRENGTH FOR YOU

STRENGTH FOR YOU

Isaiah 41:8-14
Devotional:- “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (V. 10) NKJV

Part of the unfailing promises of God is to continue to strengthen His children. So, the word of God to you today is that He will strengthen you. No matter the area you need strength; be it finances, family, business connection or ministry, the Lord will strengthen you. As the Lord is giving you a promise today, you need to know how to connect to His covenant promises for your strength.
This is possible when you draw strength from His promises to build your faith. To draw on the word of God is to meditate on the word. Faith grows in us as we meditate in the word or receive a word from the Lord (Romans 10:17). The word of God is a living word (Hebrews 4:12). When the Spirit of the word is drawn into your spirit, it produces faith in you for your strength (John 6:63). That is why God’s word says it is only by faith we can overcome (1 John 5:4).

Take time out to meditate in the word of God daily till the word produces the strength of faith in you for your victory. Read the promises to yourself again and again till your spirit is baptized into it. Then you will find the strength of God coming into you. You can then take steps of faith in this strength of faith and you will find signs of His strength following you. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, I receive your promise for me for today.

“FAITH IS THE STRENGTH OF GOD FOR YOUR VICTORY”
