HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

FELLOWSHIP

FELLOWSHIP

Devotional:- “But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, to the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly…” (V.22) NIV

Fellowship with God and with the body of Christ is one of the most beautiful things man should enjoy. God has planted so many blessings and benefits in relationship. One of the best way to connect with these blessings is by fellowshipping with children of God. The reason is that fellowship is the richest source of strength (Psalm 84:7).

Fellowship means to hang around someone. It is to share your heart with each other. It is like chemicals interacting and mixing together. That is why every man is a product of where he fellowships (Proverbs 13:20).

When Moses was fellowshipping in God’s presence, the glory of God rubbed on him. He received the strength of God and that is why he lived long in strength. Since no one could look at God in the face, the same story became of Moses and he had to put on a veil to speak to people (Exodus 34:30-33).

It Is high time you take your personal time with God serious. This is a time you are alone with His word and you and Him commune and share together in worship and prayers. You can’t do this daily and not gain new strength daily for your victory.

PRAYER: Lord, Give Me the grace to have Entrance To Your Presence daily.

“YOU CAN’T BE RECEIVING FROM ABOVE AND BE DEFEATED ON EARTH.
