  AUTHORITY Luke 10:5-20  Devotional:- “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you” (v. 19) NLT One of the most sought after instrument in this world is authority. In the social setting of the world, when people have acquire some things of life, they then begin to go for authority. But because Jesus came from above, he made available to every believer by the reason of His love what is called true authority. Authority is the power or right to enforce obedience. In the world here people cannot enjoy absolute authority. They can only enjoy delegated authority. But do you know that we have greater authority? And we can grow in this authority to become greater and greater by the level of our faith. We can possess total authority over the enemy the moment we are in tune with God and don’t mingle with sin. UNITY

Devotional:- And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them” (v.6) NKJV

    A trick of the devil the church must come up to overcome today is the spirit of division and self-centeredness. The body of Jesus has to come up with the understanding that the diversity of the gift and ability of the Holy Spirit is not for division but for unity, edification and to build a strong body of Christ that will be stronger than all devices of the devil.

Unity is a strength ordained for the church. That was what the people building the tower of Babel were tapping into. God’s word calls it an anointing [Psalm 133:1-3] Your family needs that anointing, your business needs it, and your local assembly needs it.

The church must be very careful of disunity. The moment someone have a little light or some gift, he thinks he will need to go and stand alone. But such will soon discover that he is not self-sufficient. This is how the body of Christ has not been able to evangelize the world today. Devil tricked the church into division by the gifts.

Friend, except otherwise instructed, stay in your local church with your gift. It’s never going to be easy. Wherever you find people, you are bound to find misunderstandings. But don’t let that make you detach yourself from the house of God.  As the church live in great strength of God shall be available through the church to the world. Peace!

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
