  MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. MEDITATION

Devotional:- “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.” (v.2) NIV

    God’s word describes someone blessed because he/she meditates on the word of God, day and night. How can this be? The word of God is the source of inspiration that strengthen us to perform (John 1:1-3). The Bible told us that God is a spirit, therefore meditating on the word of God is drawing on the strength of the spirit (John 6:63).

The word meditates means to dwell on, feed on, and give attention to. You as a believer must feed on the word of God which is the strength of God always (Luke 4:4). Jesus said these words I speak to you are spirit and life. (John 6:63). It means as you feed on the word of God, the Spirit and strength of God would be increasing in you. By this, you will start to gain a new measure of strength from God.

The result will be what the Bible says; that you shall be like a tree beside the rivers of waters, ever green and ever fresh. This will not only show in your family and businesses, the fruit of your body and business will come to their seasons. Your product will be sustained by the strength you keep drawing and you will prosper in all your ways. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, Help Me To always Meditate On Your Word.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
