  BECOMING LIKE CHRIST Romans 8:18-30 Devotional:- “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His son, that He might be the first born among many brethren” (V. 29) The third purpose of your life is to become like Christ. From the very beginning God intend to make man to be like Himself (Gen 1:26). So like God, we are made a spirit and our spirit lives the body. We are intellectual, we can think and solve problems. We are relational, i.e. we can give and receive love. We also have a moral conscience to discern right from wrong which make us accountable to God. God’s ultimate goal for you on earth is not comfort but character. He wants you to grow up and become like Christ. This does not mean losing your personality. Christlikeness is all about transforming your character and not your personality. Every time you forget that character development is the reason you are here you frustrate yourself. ONLY THE VICTORS

Revelation 21:1-8
Devotional:- “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (v. 7) NKJV

    In this part of the world, many are not so used to taking responsibility over challenges. Instead of been proactive to foresee and prevent issues, people are used to looking out for whom to blame and who should help out (Proverbs 14:23). It is vivid that we are in a challenging season. It is also clear that we are drawing closer to the end of the age.

It is clear that the coming of the Lord is so close and this is the reason for the challenges in the land. But it is important that we realize that Jesus is only coming for the victorious. He is not coming for the weaklings, the fearful and the irresponsible. He is not coming for people with defeated and incapable mentality. It is therefore important that you rise up as a Christian to grow and be strong.

That is why you must not use the second coming of the Lord as instrument of relaxation. You must grow your strength in the Lord. Please know that God wants to use your life as a proof that He is the almighty God. So, you cannot afford to start sleeping in your weaknesses and failures. Arise and be strong in prayers and fasting. This is the time to gain strength by meditating daily in the word of God. If you are a son of God, then the ability to win is in you (1 John 5:4). So, rise up to build up your faith for your victory. Jesus wants to meet you in your victory and success. Arise and be strong in the Lord. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, Strengthen Me for Victory.

“JESUS IS COMING ONLY FOR THE VICTORIOUS.”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
