Sometimes our challenges make us lose focus on God. We need to realise that this is the trick of the devil. He only wants to smartly disconnect us from our source. And a river that is disconnected from its source will soon dry up.   Abraham was looking for his own way to make things happen in his life and started losing focus on God by getting another wife to fulfil the promise of God. ONLY THE VICTORS

ONLY THE VICTORS

Revelation 21:1-8
Devotional:- “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (v. 7) NKJV

In this part of the world, many are not so used to taking responsibility over challenges. Instead of been proactive to foresee and prevent issues, people are used to looking out for whom to blame and who should help out (Proverbs 14:23). It is vivid that we are in a challenging season. It is also clear that we are drawing closer to the end of the age.

It is clear that the coming of the Lord is so close and this is the reason for the challenges in the land. But it is important that we realize that Jesus is only coming for the victorious. He is not coming for the weaklings, the fearful and the irresponsible. He is not coming for people with defeated and incapable mentality. It is therefore important that you rise up as a Christian to grow and be strong.

That is why you must not use the second coming of the Lord as instrument of relaxation. You must grow your strength in the Lord. Please know that God wants to use your life as a proof that He is the almighty God. So, you cannot afford to start sleeping in your weaknesses and failures. Arise and be strong in prayers and fasting. This is the time to gain strength by meditating daily in the word of God. If you are a son of God, then the ability to win is in you (1 John 5:4). So, rise up to build up your faith for your victory. Jesus wants to meet you in your victory and success. Arise and be strong in the Lord. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, Strengthen Me for Victory.

“JESUS IS COMING ONLY FOR THE VICTORIOUS.”
