FORGIVING YOURSELF

FORGIVING YOURSELF Luke 22:54-62  Devotional:- “So Peter went out and wept bitterly.bitterly.” (V.62) NKJV Before a man can begin to enjoy the expressive love of God in his life, he must learn the act of self-forgiveness. Self-condemnation is always a terrible permission for the devil to take over in the life of a believer. This can make him lose his self-worth in God’s presence. It can make a believer lose his authority in Christ. It can make a believer lose his joy and build an environment of sorrow. And you need to know that the environment of sorrow removes from you the presence of God. He only dwells where there is fullness of joy (Psalms 16:11). Unforgiveness can make a man build an atmosphere of fear and then permit the presence of demons. This also breeds discouragement and frustration and makes the life of its victim miserable. The wonderful thing in the scripture we read today is that, though Peter denied Christ publicly and committed a grievous sin, he did not let...

GETTING WEAKER

GETTING WEAKER

Job 22:21-30
Devotional:- “When they cast you down, and you say, 'Exaltation will come!' Then He will save the humble person” (v. 29) NKJV

The experience many people are going through in the world today is making them to get weak. Too many people are now in deep sorrow of defeat by situations and circumstances. Those we used to think they are strong are now very weak. The table is really turning against so many strong men.

It is important that you know that this is not the will of God for you. Many Christians are becoming weak. They have allowed the fear of the world to creep into them. They’ve forgotten that they are not of the world (John 17:14). The reason for this sudden predicament befalling people is because it is time for God to punish all acts and attitudes of unrighteousness.

This is the days of vengeance of our God but it is going to be for your own favour. When the wicked are suffering you will be rising (Isaiah 60:1-2). It is your own acceptable time before the Lord (Isaiah 6l:1-3). The wicked may be weeping but you shall be comforted. That is why you must not allow situations to make you weak.

You must therefore know that God is turning the table to your side for good. So, you cannot afford to be weak. Locate your source of strength and tap into it as much as possible (Isaiah 40:31; Psalm 84:7). Don’t ever fail to appear before Him and your story shall be different from now Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, Restore Your Strength Back To Me.

“WEAKNESS IS AS A RESULT OF ABANDONMENT OF YOUR SOURCE”.
