  NOT AUTOMATIC Philippians.1:1-11 Devotional:- “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (V.6 NLT) Knowing fully well that spiritual growth is one of your purpose of been on the earth, then you also need to know that developing Christ-like character takes years, it is not automatic. We open to God bit by bit. Discipleship is the process of conforming to Christ (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:13). The truth is that the journey to Christ-likeness is a life time journey. Growth involves believing, belonging (through fellowship) and becoming (through discipleship). Every day God want you to become a little more like Him (Colossians 3:10) Today we are interested in speed but God is interested in strength and stability than swiftness (2 Corinthians 3:18). The reason it takes time to grow is because we are slow learner. We often have to relearn a lesson forth or fifty times to reall...

ANSWER TO PRAYERS

Job 22:21-30
Devotional Verse - “You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways” (V. 28)

    A great virtue that you will notice in the life of people who create time to regularly fellowship with the Lord is the grace of Answered prayers. This can also be called an anointed mouth. This is not because of your perfection but because you give yourself to fellowshipping with the Lord (Matthew 18:18-20). This is because God in His faithfulness will have to appoint His angels around you to bring answers to your prayers (Psalms 103:20).

The word of God says when we confess our sins to each other; we enjoy forgiveness and divine healing. The effective fervent prayer of the righteous man makes tremendous power available dynamic in its working (James 5:16 Amplified). This is God making you to operate and prevailing by His power. This is God releasing His power through your life.

Friend, the time has come for you to grow to handle the power of God. This is not for Pastors or Prophets alone. It is for all the children of God (Mark 9:23; Mark 16:17-18). The secret is to get closer to God in fellowship (Job 22:21-28). There is no short cut to this. The way to it is quality fellowship in righteousness. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, put the authority of your word in my mouth.

“YOU BECOME POWERFUL WHEN YOU FELLOWSHIP WITH THE POWERFUL GOD”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
