HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

WORKING TOGETHER

WORKING TOGETHER

1 Corinthians 3:5-17
Devotional Verse - “For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building” (V. 9)

Fellowship is working together. Whenever a group or set of people are working together to achieve a common goal, they are in fellowship. Been in fellowship demands our coming to the same level and share as fellow in the same ship. People who are journeying together in the same ship have common destination in mind. This makes them to work together and make the goal achievable.

The word of God says, we are God’s fellow workers. This means by working together for the Lord as we serve in His vineyard, we are fellow in the same ship. The reason most teamwork is difficult either in office or in the house of God is that some people feel superior to other. But when people in service are in fellowship, then teamwork becomes easier, because they will work with one spirit and one focus (Genesis 11:6). This is the secret of the church.

The beauty of fellowship is that it becomes easier to share our strength. No one notices who is weak or who is strong. We all work together in love of Christ. That will put the enemy out of business and we can break barriers. But this is a product of fellowship (Amos 3:3). By this wisdom of fellowship, you will keep winning. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always enjoy the blessing of fellowship

“FELLOW IN THE SAME SHIP ARE A STRONG TEAM”
