  NOT AUTOMATIC Philippians.1:1-11 Devotional:- “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (V.6 NLT) Knowing fully well that spiritual growth is one of your purpose of been on the earth, then you also need to know that developing Christ-like character takes years, it is not automatic. We open to God bit by bit. Discipleship is the process of conforming to Christ (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:13). The truth is that the journey to Christ-likeness is a life time journey. Growth involves believing, belonging (through fellowship) and becoming (through discipleship). Every day God want you to become a little more like Him (Colossians 3:10) Today we are interested in speed but God is interested in strength and stability than swiftness (2 Corinthians 3:18). The reason it takes time to grow is because we are slow learner. We often have to relearn a lesson forth or fifty times to reall...

HANGING AROUND GOD

Psalms 23:1-6
Devotional Verse - “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever” (V. 6)

    Your life is a reflection of who you are always hangs out with. Fellowshipping is hanging around God. Very many people see coming to God as coming to just enjoy service or see friend and return home. Yes, these are part of fellowship but the major one is that we should always come to hang around is God. That is when we can look like Him (Proverbs 13:20).

David the king said in the scripture that I love to dwell in the house of the Lord forever. This does not mean sleeping or living in the church. He is talking about hanging around God. Another version of that says, that I might keep returning to the house of the Lord. Fellowship is therefore hanging around God. This is not necessary talking about coming to church always but continuous connection with the presence of God wherever we may be.

Friend, if you take it up to always hang around God, you will find God’s presence all over your life. This is all you need to be more than conqueror. This is all you need to keep having all things working out well for you. This is all you need to live above the barriers of life. This is not religion but wearing an empowered life for your intelligence and prosperity (Psalms 23:1-4). You need to meditate on the need for fellowship with God and you will be above limitations. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to start experiencing true fellowship with you.

“WHOEVER YOU ARE HANGING OUT WITH DETERMINES SO MUCH ABOUT YOUR LIFE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
