APPRECIATION

APPRECIATION Psalm 92:1-10 Devotional:- “It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High” (v.1) NKJV It is in the habit of most people that when they are expecting something from God, they will do everything possible to gain His favour. But as soon as it is done, that thing loses value to them. So, people only value what they don’t have. This sometimes does not make us have a heart of gratitude to God. We will always promise to give thanks, but as soon as we receive our expectations, some will forget to give thanks. Many do not know that the opportunity or privilege that is available to them is what qualifies them for what they are expecting. But they look down on this because their expectations have not been met. Your health is more important than travelling abroad. The breath of life you enjoy is far more valuable than the car or job you are expecting. In fact, this qualifies you for those things. Friend, no matter what God has done for you,...

BLESSING OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

BLESSING OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Job 1:1-10
Devotional Verse - “Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land” (V. 10)

People who value and give themselves to fellowship with God are always enjoying the blessings of righteousness. This is because God’s presence gives us access into divine instruction in righteousness, and we also enjoy grace to obey Him (Psalm 23:3). As a result of our constant fellowship with God, we enjoy His presence with us. There, He hides us under the shadow of His feather (Psalm 91:1). This makes us to be untouchable to the enemy. God becomes a wall all around us and members of our family.

This was what job enjoyed as we read in the word of God. God said to the devil, my servant Job is righteous before me, but the devil said it is because of the divine protection and favour Job enjoys from God. These two-fold blessing will always be found with the righteous, divine protection and favour (Psalms 5:12). The grace to walk in the righteousness of God is contacted in fellowship with God (Matthew 6:33).

Friend, it’s important that you stop allowing excuses of “there is no time,” create time to fellowship with your creator regularly. And you will start to enjoy His protection on all you have and his favour in all your ways. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make me a seeker of your righteousness
