SERVING WITH JOY Deuteronomy 28:47-52 Devotional:- “Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything” (V.47) NKJV A greater percentage of people do not know what stops their glory. They just suddenly discover that things just stop working out for them. In their ignorance, they accuse God and the devil for their predicament. You need to know from now that one of the things responsible is when people don’t serve with joy. People are always in haste to expect reward for their service. When it looks delayed, they begin to serve with grudges in their mind. God told the Israelites that if they did not serve God with a joyful heart, they would serve their enemy. This is actually too grievous, but men are also not always understanding. Something in us always looks so high that we don’t see what the Lord is doing, but we will always see what he has not done. 1 John 5:14-1
Devotional Verse - “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (V. 14)

    Everyone who loves to always have the experience of answer to prayers must understand the principle that guides it. We know that the principles of men are different from the principles of God. (Isaiah 55:8-9). That is when our prayers will not be religious or an experience of trial by error.

The word of God says, we will only be sure that our prayer will be answered when we call according to his will. His will here refers to His covenant promises in the word of God. The angels of God in charge of answers prayer are only to carry out the promises of the word of God (Psalms 103:20). That is why we must ask in prayer according to the word of God (John 8:29).

Whenever we are fellowship and praying, we should keep it in mind that we must ask according to the word. This is reminding Him of His words of promises. This is applicable to our health, our family, our businesses, our finances or projects. Whenever you are asking God, always remind Him of His words. Then your answers will be guaranteed. This is the beauty of prayer. That means you need to learn to first locate the promises before prayers. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, lead me to the realm of always answered prayers.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
