  FORMED FOR GODS FAMILY Hebrews 2:5-18 Devotional:- “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (V. 10) The second major purpose of your creation is that you are formed for Gods family (1 John 3:1) God wants a family and he wanted you to be a part of it. The entire bible is full of the story of God building a family that will love him, honor and reign with him forever (Ephesians 1:5) NLT. God is love, so he cherish relationship (1 John 4:7-8). The nature of God is relational and that is why He identifies himself in fatherly terms; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we turn to the Lord and give our lives to Jesus Christ, God becomes or Father we become His children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family. ASK SCRIPTURALLY

1 John 5:14-1
Devotional Verse - “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (V. 14)

    Everyone who loves to always have the experience of answer to prayers must understand the principle that guides it. We know that the principles of men are different from the principles of God. (Isaiah 55:8-9). That is when our prayers will not be religious or an experience of trial by error.

The word of God says, we will only be sure that our prayer will be answered when we call according to his will. His will here refers to His covenant promises in the word of God. The angels of God in charge of answers prayer are only to carry out the promises of the word of God (Psalms 103:20). That is why we must ask in prayer according to the word of God (John 8:29).

Whenever we are fellowship and praying, we should keep it in mind that we must ask according to the word. This is reminding Him of His words of promises. This is applicable to our health, our family, our businesses, our finances or projects. Whenever you are asking God, always remind Him of His words. Then your answers will be guaranteed. This is the beauty of prayer. That means you need to learn to first locate the promises before prayers. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, lead me to the realm of always answered prayers.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
