The word winning simply indicates there are battles. God did not promise a battle-free life, but a victorious life (1 John 5:4, John 16:33, Deuteronomy 20:1). So, for believers to face challenges is not a big deal. Since our victory is guaranteed. The end of the battle is determined from the beginning.   We only need to know that our battle is not ours, it is of the Lord. That is why Jesus said on the cross, “It is finished” (John 19:30). CREATE A THIRST

CREATE A THIRST

Psalms 63:1-8
Devotional Verse - “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water” (V. 1)

To be able to enjoy God in regular fellowship a man must generate a thirst for God. In the course of doing this, your friends are bound to nickname you ‘Pastor’ This is because it is not the way of the world. The world often creates fellowship at a club house or beer parlor. But you are creating one with your God. That is why many people will be used by the devil to try to stop you. The devil knows that you will gain dominion over him. That is why it must be a strong decision to become a Christian who regularly fellowship with God.

The word of God told us how David was thirsty to always be in fellowship with God. He said, early will I seek you oh Lord (Psalms 84:2; Psalms 143:6). This is what it takes (Isaiah 26:9; Proverbs 10:24). God is only available to those who need Him with all their heart (Jeremiah 29:13). It's not everyone you see in church that is ready for God. So, you cannot follow people to serve God.

Friend, the time has come to add color to your Christian journey. This is by being thirsty for God. Most of the things that drive you around will be settled in His presence and you will enjoy a life of prosperity. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, create in me a thirst for your presence.

“IT IS WHAT YOU ARE THIRSTY FOR, THAT WILL SATISFY YOU”
