  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. SECRET PLACE

Matthew 6:6-15
Devotional Verse - “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly” (V. 6)

    The principle of secret place is part of the pattern of the prayer life of the children of Israel. They love to go to a solitary place to be alone with Jesus. This surely helps to concentrate and focus. This helps to put your mind together with God. The principle of out of sight is out of mind helps you to remove your mind from so many other things that could distract you.

Jesus has taught us to create a time of prayer and fellowship with God by staying in our room and locking our door. This does not mean secret court but it does mean you don’t display to people that you are praying.  You need to know that praying is connecting to God through a wave length, so you could create a jam by people looking at you and thinking contrary to your prayer. There are times for public prayers but that could be a warfare prayer and not fellowship.

In times of prayer, don’t call for attention or disturb others and don’t let anyone distract you. If you don’t have the space to be alone, then face the wall to keep your mind off other people or other activities. It is better for people to just keep seeing your result and not knowing when you are generating it. Then you will have quality encounter with God. Peace.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
