  MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. SECRET PLACE

Matthew 6:6-15
Devotional Verse - “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly” (V. 6)

    The principle of secret place is part of the pattern of the prayer life of the children of Israel. They love to go to a solitary place to be alone with Jesus. This surely helps to concentrate and focus. This helps to put your mind together with God. The principle of out of sight is out of mind helps you to remove your mind from so many other things that could distract you.

Jesus has taught us to create a time of prayer and fellowship with God by staying in our room and locking our door. This does not mean secret court but it does mean you don’t display to people that you are praying.  You need to know that praying is connecting to God through a wave length, so you could create a jam by people looking at you and thinking contrary to your prayer. There are times for public prayers but that could be a warfare prayer and not fellowship.

In times of prayer, don’t call for attention or disturb others and don’t let anyone distract you. If you don’t have the space to be alone, then face the wall to keep your mind off other people or other activities. It is better for people to just keep seeing your result and not knowing when you are generating it. Then you will have quality encounter with God. Peace.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
