THANK HIM FOR ALL

THANK HIM FOR ALL Zechariah 4:1-10 Devotional:- “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; His hands shall also finish it and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you” (V. 9) KJV In such a season as this, one of the weapons of the devil to steal the joy of many is discouragement. The enemy will make them see that God has not been good to them. He will make us to think of what God has not done, and not what He has done. He will make us compare ourselves to others and so one will see other people as better.   God can provide all that you need, and He is not mindful or unfaithful to you. He gave you the one you have today, but all that is good for your life. He will also give you if you can wait on Him by faith. Such time like this should challenge us to become better to do better. Every time you are not happy with your current situation, just know that a change is about to take place in your life. It is now you who will determine ...

PRAYING IN TONGUES

PRAYING IN TONGUES

Jude 1:20-25
Devotional Verse - “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit” (V. 20)

A time of fellowship with God demand that we communicate with our spirit. This is beyond the realm of the mind. This is through meditation in our mind as we pray. This is by focusing and opening our eye of the spirit to behold the throne of God. Whenever this happens, we become connected with God and we speak in tongue of the spirit.

The word of God says you are building yourself up in the faith whenever we pray in the spirit. In other words, praying in the Holy Spirit makes us build up in our relationship and fellowship with God. Praying in the spirit opens up a direct line between us and God (1 Corinthians 14:2). It makes us groan in our spirit when we pray (Romans 8:26). This is when the Holy Spirit takes over to help us pray better to God. This makes tremendous power available to us to give us victory as we pray (James 5:16).

However, this experience is limited only to Christians who are filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4). As a child of God, you must not joke with this encounter. You cannot guarantee your total portion in God without the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. Receive grace. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always connect with your Spirit
