STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

1 Samuel 30:1-10
Devotional:-“But David pursued, he and four hundred men; for two hundred stayed behind, who were so weary that they could not cross the Brook Besor” (V. 10)

Faith is taking responsibility. It is taking action having heard from God. It is rising to action because you know that God is with you. It is facing challenges with courage. It is acting in wisdom, knowing fully well that God will step in and there will be victory.

David and his army were in a great distress, because the enemy struck. Everyone began to weep including David. The truth is that, weeping or sorrowing will not solve the problem. Somebody has to take responsibility. God’s word says and David encouraged himself to take responsibility and act wisely (Matthew 7:24). He inquired of the Lord for what to do. He pursued the enemy and God gave him victory.

Friends, complaining will not give victory. Weeping will not be credited. Take responsibility over your situation. Ask God for what to do and step out by faith to do it. Result does not come by praying in the church. After the prayer, God will always answer by giving you an instruction. So, step out by faith and you will see God stepping in. Don’t keep looking at the situation. Take responsibility. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart of responsibility.

“WHEN YOU STEP OUT, GOD WILL STEP IN”
