A SAVIOUR

A SAVIOUR Matthew 1:18-25  Devotional:- “...for He will save His people from their sins”. (V. 21) Due to the multiplication of man, the increase and enlargement of needs, life is almost becoming a tragedy for the human race. It is becoming complicated for the government to successfully govern the people. Diseases and strange kinds of sickness are increasingly multiplying. Human and science solution is becoming unpromising to the challenges of life. The technologies men have built have become a trap and an unpredictable time bomb. The devices of wickedness in the hearts of men are becoming unbelievable. The relationship between people that made life bearable in the past is sacrificed for safety, so loneliness, one of the greatest enemies of man, is being joyfully embraced. And living is becoming a mixture ofjoy and sorrow. Yet in the midst of all of these, there is a way out to anyone who will embrace it. God has given us Jesus Christ as our Saviour. STANDING FEARLESSLY

 STANDING FEARLESSLY

1 Samuel 17:30-37
Devotional:-“Then David said to Saul, “Let no man’s heart fail because of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine” (V. 32)

Faith is standing fearlessly. To stand fearless is to entertain no weak mind. It is to face the enemy with full confidence. It is to refuse to shake at the face of fear and be an intimidation to fear. It is to nurse no fear in the midst of any situation. This is a realm that you will always operate in when you are truly living by faith in the word of God.

This is the realm David was when confronting Goliath: this is the realm Daniel was when he was thrown into the lion’s den, this is the realm the three Hebrews were when they were thrown into the burning furnace (Daniel 3:16). This is the realm Jesus was at the face of the judgment of Pilate (John 19:10-11).

For anyone to live in the realm of fearlessness, you must see the invisible. These are the forces of God at work to protect and deliver you from every trouble (2 kings 6:16-17). Daniel saw the forces of heaven stopping the mouth of lions (Daniel 6:22). The three Hebrews saw the Son of God with them (Daniel 3:24-25) David saw the presence of God with him (1 Samuel 17:37) Jesus knew that the legion of angels was with him (Matthew 25:53).

Friend, can you see the fire of God around you (Zechariah 2:5), can you see the angels of God standing by you (Psalms 91:11)? Then be fearless.

Prayer: Lord, open the eyes of my spirit to see the forces of God with me.

“IT IS WHAT YOU CAN SEE THAT YOU HAVE”
