LOVE  Luke 10:25-37 Devotional:- “So he answered and said, " 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbor as yourself.'".” (v.27) NKJV   If you as a child of God, will keep having dominion in the midst of your enemies, then you need to embrace the wisdom of love. This does not look like wisdom, but it is in the way of the Lord. He said, “My ways are different from your ways, neither are your thoughts as my thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8). Even though the world today is becoming more hostile, the word of God teaches us to love. Wise people know that when you love others, you are simply helping yourself. It costs you so much to hate others, but you earn so much when you love.   Love is an act of showing affection and being affected by the lives of others. RESTING IN HIS PROMISES

Mark 4:35-41
Devotional:- “But he said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” (v. 40)


    The evidence of faith is rest. Fear builds tension in us. It is because of fear and doubt that man has invented hypertension and high blood pressure. They were not part of the creature of God but of man through sin. Fear always break the courage of men to act out for result. As potent as the creation of man, as latent a destiny can be without faith. Circumstances will always look threatening and only the Spirit of God can breathe on us to act positively against negative circumstances (Job 32:8). 

In the scripture we read today, God’s word taught us about a result of faith. Faith is actually resting confidently in the midst of storm. It is not getting disturbed by any warring situation (Hebrew 4:2-3). The disciple of Jesus was faced with a stormy situation and was tensed in fear. Jesus was also in the same boat and was resting. This is because He knows that the great I am that is with Him will never allow the storm to swallow Him.

There is a labor of faith to be able to enter into the rest of faith (Hebrews 4:11-12). This is by resting upon the promises of the word of God. The reason we don’t do this is because we cannot see the forces of God that are working for us (2 Kings 6:15-17) Life achievement become easy when you learn to rest on the promises of the word of God. Labour to locate the promises of the word of God for you and enter into the rest of faith that God might resume (Exodus 14:14) Peace! 

Prayer: - Lord help me to take my rest in your word

“UNTIL YOU CAN REST, GOD CANNOT RESUME”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
