NEW THING

NEW  THING Isaiah 43:18-21  Devotional:- “For I'm going to do a brand-new thing. See, I have already begun! Don't you see it? I will make a road through the wilderness of the world for my people to go home, and create rivers for them in the desert!? (V.19) TLB      Sometimes we make the mistake of basing our faith not on the word of God but upon our experiences. Many of us do not know that faith will always be weak in us when we allow it to attend the school of experience. That is, we weigh it or compare it with what we’ve gone through in the past. Then it becomes doubt. I know you might have gone through all kinds of experiences in the past years. You have prayed, and nothing happened. You have waited only to see nothing. Yet you will need to believe God afresh for a new experience in this year.

ACCEPTING THE WORD

ACCEPTING THE WORD

Genesis 17:15-17
Devotional “But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year”(V. 21)

It is the word of God that produces faith. Though, God is not physical but His word produces faith when His word come to you and you accept it. Just as we search the Bible through meditation to take faith, so also the word of God can be transmitted into our spirit as it is been spoken to us. Faith will only grow in us for our miracle when we accept the word of God personally (Romans 10:17).

In the scripture we read today, God spoke to Abraham about His promise but it was only by faith that Abraham was able to accept it. So also, there are many part of the Bible we read regularly but we really don’t accept it personally. We even claim the word for ourselves but we act contrary to our confession.

Friend, faith cannot fail, but you must be willing to accept the word of God. This is by believing that it is a personal word meant for you. Then you will start speaking and acting according to the word. It is when God speaks to us that His Spirit word energizes us to act courageously (Ezekiel 2:2). This is faith. Peace!

Prayer: Lord always give me a word for my situation.

“WHEN YOU HAVE THE WORD, YOU HAVE YOUR WORLD”
