  MEDIATING Hebrews 8:1-13 Devotional:- “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises” (V. 6) NKJV In the Old Testament, the human priest used to stand in the gap between God and man. But because they are also human and can also sin, their priesthood was not able to actually deliver the human race. This is the ministry Jesus is carrying out on behalf of the believers since His ascension to heaven.  This ministry was taken over by Jesus because He loves us. Though He is seated on the throne but sitting closely to the Father to advocate for us. A mediator is someone who stands in the gap between the benefactor and the beneficiary. He is the one who pleads our cause to God. He is the one who intercedes for us before the Father. That is why we can be certain of our faith in God through Christ Jesus. SEEKING THE WORD

John 30:24-31
Devotional:- “Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen ME, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” v29 (NKJV)


    Faith is seeing what God is saying. Man is a spirit and he has a soul and dwell in the body (1 Thessalonian 5:23). Because man is a spirit, this makes it possible for man to relate with God who is a Spirit (John 4:24). There are therefore some spiritual features in us that we must retain to use for our advantage. Part of it is our ability to imagine or see the invisible in our mind.

Faith is spiritual, it is not bold face, it is not mere confession of the Bible. Faith grows in us when we see what the Bible is saying. If we only read the Bible, we may not receive faith, but when we can see, we will not doubt (Jeremiah 1:11-12). Thomas almost became a lost disciple till he saw Jesus.

Friend, when you study the word of God, learn to turn the scripture to picture through your imagination, then faith will grow in you. Whenever you are in the house of God see the presence of God there (Matthew 18:20). See the angels of God (Hebrews 12:22). Then your faith will grow to receive. When you pray for a sick person in the name of Jesus, see the sickness leaving (Mark 16:17). See your blessing come (Mark 11:24) Then you are set for greatness in God. Peace!

Prayer: - Lord, open my eyes to always see wonderful things in your word.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
