ALL WORKING TOGETHER

ALL WORKING TOGETHER Romans 8:18-30 Devotional:- “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (v.28) NKJV Sometimes, because dates and times are rolling, we tend to start to think if the will of God will ever come to pass in our lives again. Some will ask, if God want to do it, why has He not done it all this while? This is a product of us waiting and expecting God to fulfil His promises in our lives within a time frame. And since time is going, we start to nurse some doubt about God’s ability and willingness to fulfil His promises in our lives. If you observe critically, most people come to that state simply because they compare their lives with others. But many of us often forget that God is taking us all the way through a different route to a different destination.  All that we need to do is to be sure that we discover and remain in the purpose of God for our lives. REJOICING IN HOPE

REJOICING IN HOPE

Roman 4:16-22
Devotional:- “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God” (v. 20)

Faith is rejoicing in hope, it is rejoicing even when there are no physical evidence of that promises of God. It is rejoicing because of the ability of God to perform His word. It is rejoicing based on the faithfulness of God.

In the scripture we read today was the experience of Abraham. For a long time God kept promising Abraham that he will be a father of nations. This was difficult to believe by the human mind because Abraham was over 100 years and his wife 90 years (Genesis 17:17). Yet, it was recorded in the Bible that they were rejoicing in hope, that is, joyfully expecting. This was because they know the faithfulness of God.

Friends, you need to know that God will perform all he has promised you. So to live with joy in expectation should not be difficult. Refuse to die before your time (Job 14:14). Wait without wavering and you will laugh last. Peace!

Prayer:- Lord strengthen me to rejoice in your word.

“YOU NEED THE JOY OF FAITH TO KEY INTO THE UNFAILING WORD”
