MAKING GOD HAPPY

MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. Noah trusted Him and built an arc even on a dry land (Hebrew 11:7). Though, he had never seen rain before yet believed God and trusted Him compl...

THINKING THE WORD WAY

THINKING THE WORD WAY

Ephesians 3:14-21
Devotional:-“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (V. 20)

Faith is thinking the word of God. This is taking the word to mind. It is letting your thoughts align only with the word of God. It is important that we know that there are two major means of exchange in the realm of the spirit. They are our words and our thoughts (Number 14:28; Ephesians 3:20)

The scripture we read today talks about the unlimited capacity of God to perform. It also mention the two means of exchange in the realm of the spirit: our asking (our words) and our thinking. For anyone to connect to the supernatural, these two factors must align. This is by thinking the way the word said it. Accepting in your mind that it is exactly what will be for you.

Often time, the feelings of our body want to dominate our thought. But we must learn to counter our feelings and impose the thought of the word of God to experience His power. Turn the word to picture by imagination and start visualizing it as a reality in your life. Remember, His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Choose your thoughts to determine your feelings. Remember the direction of your thought determines the direction of your life (Proverbs 23:7). As a pregnant woman, think that your baby is delivered already. Think and feel healed, like someone that is set free, blessed and successful. And you will encounter His power. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help my thinking to agree with your thinking
