  GOOD WILL Luke 2:8-14 Devotional:- “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (V. 14) NKJV A great blessing of God to humanity at the birth of Christ is goodwill. A nation without it is completely under bondage. They cannot claim, nor ask, nor can they have anything from the Lord except by the common grace (Matthew 5:25). This is what the sons of men are before the coming of the Messiah. Men have been living under the pressure and the punishment of sin and the law. Men were governed spiritually by the law they were never capable of obeying. When Jesus came, then came the time of grace. This brought us into the season of the goodwill of God (Ephesians 2:8). Will is what every father writes to give the right of inheritance to each of the children. Before Christ, God’s will was not approachable for men. It was not favorable for a natural man. TRUE LOVE

TRUE LOVE                    

Read: Luke 10:25-37
So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him (Vs. 34).

 

    No one can enjoy the blessings of the kingdom of God without living in the true love of Christ. The true love of Christ is experienced when you go out of your personal way to be of help to another person as the Lord lays it in your heart.
 
    We can see in the parable of the kingdom of God concerning a man who was in a helpless situation, wounded by some thieves. They had robbed him of his goods and left him with nothing. Many people who passed by the scene saw the helpless man but had no love to come to his rescue. A Samaritan with a heart of love came to his rescue and was eventually entitled to God’s blessings.
 
    Friend, you must be willing to live in love if you want to enjoy the blessings of the kingdom of God. Love is a single attitude that approves a man before God (Matthew 22:37-40). Everyone is looking for love and even God wants man to love Him. That is why He sowed His seed of love to reap our love (John 3:16). You also must learn to do likewise. Let the Holy Spirit guide your heart to sow the seed of love and you will find the manifestation of the love of God in your life. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, plant the spirit of genuine love in my heart

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
