  GRATITUDE Malachi 2:1-5 Devotional:- “if you do not listen, and if you do not set your heart to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will send curse upon you, and l will curse your blessings. Yes I have already cursed them, because you have not set your heart to honor me.” (V. 2) NIV In such a period like this one of the things God expects from you and me ls that we should be grateful unto Him. It is a great thing that the Lord has kept us to See the end of another year. You need to know that countless number of people have been swallowed by death in the year. Even if many things are yet to be where you expected them to be, death will never be a better option for you and your family. God has kept you because He still has a good plan for you. He still sees a great future ahead of you. So be grateful. TRUE LOVE

TRUE LOVE                    

Read: Luke 10:25-37
So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him (Vs. 34).

 

    No one can enjoy the blessings of the kingdom of God without living in the true love of Christ. The true love of Christ is experienced when you go out of your personal way to be of help to another person as the Lord lays it in your heart.
 
    We can see in the parable of the kingdom of God concerning a man who was in a helpless situation, wounded by some thieves. They had robbed him of his goods and left him with nothing. Many people who passed by the scene saw the helpless man but had no love to come to his rescue. A Samaritan with a heart of love came to his rescue and was eventually entitled to God’s blessings.
 
    Friend, you must be willing to live in love if you want to enjoy the blessings of the kingdom of God. Love is a single attitude that approves a man before God (Matthew 22:37-40). Everyone is looking for love and even God wants man to love Him. That is why He sowed His seed of love to reap our love (John 3:16). You also must learn to do likewise. Let the Holy Spirit guide your heart to sow the seed of love and you will find the manifestation of the love of God in your life. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, plant the spirit of genuine love in my heart

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
